FCC 36 Main Event: Uchegbu vs Scott

After yet another incredible night, Full Contact Contender is back for another show at the legendary Liverpool Olympia for FCC 36.

On December 16th Raphael Uchegbu will defend his FCC Bantamweight Title against the unbeaten Louis Lee Scott.

Uchegbu will enter the fight holding both the FCC Featherweight and Bantamweight Titles.

The Team Kaobon trained fighter is undefeated in his time under the FCC banner, both fights by finish; the 28-year-old appears to be coming into his fighting prime.

Last time out, Uchegbu sunk in a rear-naked choke to capture the Featherweight Title against Chute Box fighter, Matheus Linhares. His FCC debut saw him work to an armbar over a bloodied Andres Felipe Molano at FCC 33, to win that soon to be defended Bantamweight Title.

Uchegbu expressed his excitement about showcasing his talents on FCC.

“I’m looking forward to fighting on FCC, it’s a great show!" He said.

"Some great fighters have come on the show, and I think it’s one of the top promotions in the local scene, so I’m happy to be fighting for the belt.”

Apart from winning titles at the regional level, Uchegbu has also spent time fighting in such promotions as PFL and Bellator, holding a 100% finish rate in the latter.

However, he will have a tough test in front of him in the form of Scott, who has taken to the paid ranks well after an extensive, and successful, amateur career.

A former IMMAF competitor, Scott held a 14-2 amateur record which includes a win over Reece McEwan, before turning professional in 2020.

Since then, the talented 23-year-old has been perfect, amassing an impressive 6-0 record, with all wins coming by stoppage. This includes a 21-second head kick knockout over Sam Robinson on PFL Europe.

Fans will be in for a serious treat when these two take the stage, the fight will be a battle between two of the best Bantamweights that the UK has to offer.
